Ancient Knowledge for the 21st Century
T-shirt Yoga, it suits almost everybody!
The Five Tibetans are at least 2000 years old.
They are a set of 5 (only) simple yet highly effective energizing exercises that originated from the so-called "ageless monks" in Tibet. Known also as the Five Rites of Rejuvenation, they were brought to the West early last century by a retired British Army officer who in his search for “The Fountain of Youth” found them and learnt them in a Tibetan monastery.
These five simple, yet powerful exercises take only 10-15 minutes per day of daily effort - but once mastered can dramatically increase your flexibility, suppleness and physical strength as well as mental acuity. Practised regularly they can improve your respiration and your digestion; relieve muscular tension and reduce nervous stress. They can also benefit your cardiovascular system and lead you to a deep sense of well-being and relaxation.
They open up the body / mind energy system and balance your body. The Five Tibetans are not only strengthening and enlightening; but also highly enjoyable! Their practice enlivens the senses and enhances your appreciation of all life. They will fill you up if you let them! Their practice can be fun and exhilarating. Food can taste and smell better and sex can feel better. Breathing becomes a rich pleasure.
"I have been doing the 5 tibetans every day for about 80 days now. I can't describe how incredible it is for me. All I can say is that it needs to be experienced on a day to day basis for an extended period of time to really get it that these exercises work. I have lost 8 unwanted kg, my energy is up, my happiness is consistently higher and my stress levels are definately down even though I am taking more on in my life. At first it felt like a burden to keep my agreement with myself to do the tibetans every day and now it's one of the first things I do in the morning because I enjoy it so much.
Definately make the choice to commit to the 90 days. It can only benefit you."

You will have more:
The easiest & most effective yoga on Earth.
The Five Tibetans® is a very ancient, very simple set of rejuvenation exercises. They assist the body to balance itself.
You will learn the five postures and then repeat them, up to 21 times each, with a special energizing breath in between the sets.
This routine takes about 15-20 minutes at a gentle pace.
Between each set (of 21) you will learn a special energizing method of breathing. This breathing can be done at any time to help you to cope with stress and tiredness or just calm down and enliven your mind.
Breathing is very important in The Five Tibetans. It is essential to learn the correct way to breathe both during the exercises and also between the sets.
How is it different from other yoga?
The Five Tibetans® is different from other yoga in a number of aspects.
Firstly they were brought to the West by a westerner. Colonel Bradford, a retired British Army officer, found them in his search for the Fountain of Youth. Hence their other name… The Rejuvenation Rites.
They, like many other powerful systems of ancient knowledge, had been secret. Their power being guarded by those who believed it was dangerous in the hands of ordinary people.
It was in the late 1920’s when they were first taught in the West. At that time interest and awareness was just beginning to grow in all sorts of ancient esoteric knowledge.
Secondly, the First Tibetan is a spin. This is not found in any other yoga. Spinning is done ritually by the Sufi masters as a passage to an altered state of consciousness; in dancing, such as ballet, and children do it, as play.
Thirdly, the difference is in the fact that each exercise is repeated 21 times, as a set.
Lastly, there are only 5 postures in total. (There is a 6th which is only recommended for those who wish to conserve and redirect their sexual energy i.e. monks). Other forms of yoga have many more postures and there are levels of difficulty. Not so in The Five Tibetans®. Just 5 that almost anyone can learn.
You don’t need any special equipment or clothes. You can do them anywhere at any time you feel the need. They are very “transportable”. Very appropriate for our busy modern lives.
You will look and feel rejuvenated!
Everybody gets what they need from this yoga. As stated before it is a balancing yoga.
Some people lose weight and size other gain. Some go off or lessen their medications (especially asthma medications). Others are no longer depressed or continually tired. Some students have stopped smoking! Others have stopped getting up in the night either from sleeplessness or going to the toilet. Hot flushes are reduced. Menopause definitely improves. Students with bad backs and lower back pain find relief.
Stress is greatly reduced and students have a greater ability to handle it appropriately. That’s the key, to be able to deal with stress in an appropriate way, because it never goes away. It’s very empowering to deal with stress well and to not get “uptight” about it and waste our valuable energy.
EVERYBODY is more flexible and EVERYONE reports having much more energy and a clearer mind.
You don’t need any prior knowledge of yoga to do this. In fact many people who come to the classes have done yoga before and may even teach it.- yet they reap the same benefits as those who have never done yoga.
Students range from 12 years old to 85 in every state of fitness and stiffness you could imagine. Many students have injuries, old and new.
You will learn The Five Tibetans® at your pace- there’s no rush. It is very easy to learn and the course is designed to start from zero expertise.
You just need an open mind and the intention to learn something new to improve your own well-being and take responsibility for it.
It isn’t hard – as I have said 12-85 year olds can do it and do it well. Strength and flexibility build as the number of repetitions grows. Some people think they would not be able to do the exercises when they first see them demonstrated, but after the course they are overjoyed with their achievement, and inspired and motivated to continue doing it.
Have you got 10 -15 minutes a day?
You will have a tool you can use forever, anywhere, to keep you fit and well mentally and physically.

Hi, I'm Barbara Elkins and I found The Five Tibetans® when I was very stressed and menopausal. I had put on weight, my brain felt like it was full of cotton wool, my joints ached – and I felt half dead. My doctor advised me - after doing a whole lot of tests on me - that I was menopausal and that I should think about HRT. At the time, I was President of a National Menopause Foundation and was not impressed with the results I had seen from women taking HRT.
Fortunately I had heard about the rejuvenation effects of The Five Tibetans® and I began at once to practice them regularly.
Some time later I went to the doctor for tests and found I was ovulating again! She said that whatever I was doing had taken 15-20 years off my biological age!!! I was youthing instead of ageing.
In addition, many years ago I was involved in a bad car accident and was told that I would be in a wheelchair at 40 – you’d never know that now – thanks to The Five Tibetans®.
What I liked the most about The Five Tibetans® - was they were so easy to do and I really enjoyed them (and still do)!
I got results so quickly - and they are long lasting.
I’ve tried many different things to keep myself fit and well (both mentally and physically) but The Five Tibetans® does all these things for me and much, much more.
I have taught over a thousand people, and have personally practiced The Five Tibetans® every day for the last ten years – its extraordinary to see so many people get more youthful.
